Easter Day! Pheww...we survived!

 

Ok so it was a super fun day filled with family food and A LOT of fun. Layla Rose had a great time...and topped it all off with a 2 hrs scream fest when we got home! HAHA! needless to say EXHAUSTED...here are  a few highlights!

Super fun end to a family weekend, we went to see the baby animals at Desources, it was super fun! Layla Rose had no idea what was going on, but she was looking at EVERYTHING! here are some fun pics from the adventure!

What a great weekend! Eric has been plannign to go for some time, but the dragon and I were not sure...we hoooed and huuuuummmmed over it BUT decided we would never be THOSE people who let fear of doing something stop them. So even though I was nervous to take her on a longer road trip and in a hotel, and then spend 2 full days at the arena WE DID IT! We had a great time, Layla Rose was a hit , all the guy just loved her ( her little hat doesn`t hurt for cutness). We even skipped a nap and went to the diner banquet with 200 people and she did great She lasted until 9pm and then went back to the room and she slept her night as usual.  Mommy lesson, don`t be bound by being afraid of stuff, just push right through it and get to the other side, it will be ok. YAHOO!! And now we have great memories ( even though Eric`s team lost in the finals). In a few weeks I am playing in a tournament and now we know that it will be ok! YAY! I would like to add that the have a Carters in Kingston and this Momma went BONKERS...the Mommy lesson there....Carter`s has cute clothes :) tee hee!

I survived!! OH BOY!

What a weekend! Friday night in order to have an easy night because we had a big weekend planned we ordered in, Amir was our guilty pleasure. Lets just say not an hour after eating diner I was praying to the porcelin god and continued thus all night. At 5 am we actually had to call in the cavalry and my parents came to spend the day with the dragon as I wallowed in misery LOL! Food poisoning SUCKS! however after 36hrs of unpleasentsness i did manage to lose 4.2lbs HAHA! not quite as planned but at least a small positive in the HUGE suckiness of throwing up. Plus I missed the twins birthday, crud...hopefully we will have a fun playdate this friday and Layla Rose can wear her special  outfit she got just for their special day. We were supposed to go to the cabane a sucre today. but that got nixed due to ...well you know...so instead we had another grandârents day and LaylaRose got so much love this weekend from all four i think she is SPOILED for a week! Lets hope that it carried her through this week at daycare `cause this momma is not loving it...ugh

What a fun day! Today our little dragon went on a fun play date with our friend Zack. Zack`s mom is a terrible influence on this Momma and showed her the Carters section at Sears and lets just say I went a little shopping crazy!! HAHA! Thanks Julie! But since you showed me those yummy muffins I guess I can`t blame you, oh and BTW I won Eric over with the hat and zebra pants....you heard me people zebra pants...stay tuned for those pics! Anyways we had just the best time, we totally screwed up our afternoon nap and was out ike a light by 6...eesh! but it was so worth it! Thanks for the fun Julie, and another KUDOS for how brave you were today!!
