Oh what a night!

PHEW!!!!! they are not kidding when they say  having a 2nd child is a lot! But it is A lot of everything, the good and the more challenging! I can't believe it is six weeks this week, it goes much too fast, everything that is except the baby weight! LOL! it is still there!! I am starting hockey tomorrow night and I won't lie I am CRAZY nervous to get back on the ice, I was feeling so good about myself before the pregnancy, I was on a roll lets say. How will I be now? Here is hoping I will not embarrass myself or feel badly! ( Thank god I am not a goalie)

My birthday is co9ming up soon and that to is a mental challenge! I swore by 35 I would be physically where I wanted to be, so I won't make that goal, but I am better than where I started off...I have given myself a new target! My cousins wedding ( date yet undeclared) LOL! By then I want to be where I am happy and in a dress! BY GOD people I am going to wear a nice dress for my beautiful cousins wedding and feel good about it! ( Vanessa, no rush to get married please!)

Went out for diner with some old friends, haven't seen in YEARS and it truly made me realise that first of all...we all look a tad older...looking good...just more seasoned! HAHA! Also, our topics of conversation have somewhat changed...we all talked about our kids/dogs/wives etc But more than that I realised that if friends are really a good match, then time is really  not an issue...but at the same time more effort to stay in touch with those quality guys I will definitely make! Amazing time with my guys from Mcdonalds! LOL

So much more to say but the Buddha is waking ( probably still hungry!!) here are some more our our great adventure pictures!!

A busy January indeed...

Well needless to say blogging has become a little more difficult but here I am!!

We have been incredibly blessed with our two little angels! Of course we are not without the challenges of balancing now 2 worlds and 2 kiddies. but we are up for the challenge! ( we hope)

I have once again began training and I am going to say...holy crap I am out of shape! I find the hardest thing eating right, since I was not very careful during the pregnancy. I have to convince myself to make the healthy choice, whereas before it was not only my instinct but my desire...so here's hoping that comes back :) I also am hoping this is the LAST time I need to do this in depth training and weight loss, I would really just like for once to be a healthy version of myself and ultimately my best me. I find the constant battle tedious and sometimes discouraging but yet I trudge on..ugh

So until my next post here are some of the cutest kids ever...no bias at all

What a wonderful surprise! A friend of ours who is a photographer asked to use our little Anthony as a model for an outfit. Thinking I would get a cute photo out of this and of course bragging rights LOL! I said yes and to our delight and to the talent of our friend Josee Ann Moisan we ended up with a ton a beautiful pictures! I recommend her for any of your photo needs! WOW!! Here are just a few!

ok so after a crazy town pregnancy and a RIDICULOUS birth experience our little family is complete. We never thought we would have even one and now to be blessed with 2 amazing little souls is just unbelievable. Honestly we just can't stop pinching ourselves! Our little man even gave us a nice p[resent for Christmas and woke up only 2 times last night so we got two really good chunks of sleep! YAHOO!!

So this year was obviously a toned down holiday, we have not had any visitors or anything ( little immune system and all) so here are a few pictures to tide you all over until we get a chance to see everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and look forward to meeting you all in the new year!

Epic road melt down...over a shovel

Who doesn't  love to play outside?!?! Layla Rose had a great time playing in the snow...made some mini snowmen and shoveled. But do we use the shovel we got special for you,,,oh no, we want the BIG shovel LOL. Then get mad because it is too heavy, but even better get REALLY mad when we try to help! LOL!

Pre baby famiyl fun day!

So with just a few short sleeps un our newest edition arrives we were super lucky to have a fun day together doing all kinds of fun things. Our options are pretty limited since I am waddling around at the pace of a turtle but we had a super fun time and look forward to Baby #2 to share things like this with him too!

ok so first stop...Fairview, good place since lots of things ot see and plenty of places to sit down! LOL! so we decided to give Santa a try...somehow that didn't work out, the line up was 1hr long and Layla Rose freaked out at the amount of people so somehow that turned into a chocolate ice cream and the ipad...

I have to admit though, watching her eat the cone was worth it, I never laughed so hard at the disaster of her holding that cone for dear life!! she wouldn't let go, I had to scrape the melted ice cream off with a straw and then bribe her at home to trade it for a bottle. It was a soggy mess!!

 

Next was swimming at the pointe Claire pool, I have to say that our little dragon fish was AMAZING! we switch lesson 3 weeks ago and WHAT a difference, she won't even let us hold her in the water anymore, so we have to put the bubble on her! she only lets us hold her hands. She is so good and she jumps in like a wild woman!! So fun!

 

 

And we finished off the day with an attempt at a gingerbread house and the Muppet Christmas carol...Super fun finish but needless to say perhaps a bit to young for the gingerbread house...lol
